We employ a part time Outreach Worker who will respond to requests for help from our members as well as others seeking information and advice on any aspect of having cerebral palsy.
We provide free, impartial information and guidance on a full range of issues which include the following:
- We provide information on cerebral palsy from the time of diagnosis.
- We give information on services available and how to access them.
- We assist with benefit and grant applications [Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payments, Employment and Support Allowance, Carers Allowance].
- We offer a signposting service to other specialist services both locally and nationally.
- We promote other local events which may be of interest to our members Eg legal workshops, parent support groups, exhibitions and information days see our Whats On Calendar
